When Kerry asked me to design the branding for her exciting new venture, Spotty Dog Farm Shop, I was super keen to be involved!

Having worked with Kerry and the team at Pink Box Boutique we were already on the same creative page. With her extensive market research and my creative vision, I was able to develop the branding for Spotty Dog Farm Shop, starting with an initial mood board exploring style, font and colour. From this I created an initial range of logo concepts. These were discussed and defined in depth before working up the final chosen logo.

With a vintage-inspired style, I developed the final composition typography and detailing. The dog himself was hand drawn in stages before being transformed into the final illustration. He plays a key part in the branding so time and effort was taken, with Kerry’s feedback along the way, to get him spot on!

The branding had to encompass all aspects of the business, so I created two formats so it could be used on everything but still be on brand! This has helped to launch Spotty Dog Farm Shop into the local community and create a strong brand both in print and online. It’s clearly identifiable and relatable on their shop signage, vans and apparel as well as on product packaging and at point of sale. It also translates extremely well onto their website and social media.

Following on from this I have designed and created their first product catalogue, which showcases their great range and reaches out to a wider audience. I also designed their Privilege Club and ‘Cakery’ logos as part of the brand extension.

I am now involved in developing some of their own products to launch in the future – so watch this space!
